The practice currently provides psychiatric care for patients 18 years or older.

The practice primarily focuses on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive mental health care while incorporating evidence-based behavioral approaches such as motivational interviewing (MI), CBT-informed interventions, supportive counseling, and behavioral activation when clinically appropriate. Depending on individual needs and treatment goals, referral to a therapist or counselor for more in-depth psychotherapy may also be recommended.

The online contact form is currently the best way to request an appointment and begin the intake process. We are actively working to improve scheduling and communication processes as the practice continues to grow, and someone from the office will respond within 2–3 business days after submission of the form. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency or are in crisis, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for eligible patients throughout Utah. Availability of telehealth services is determined at the discretion of the provider based on clinical appropriateness, patient safety, and individual treatment needs.

Initial appointments involve a comprehensive discussion about symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, sleep, stressors, past treatment history, and overall mental health goals. The goal is to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

Controlled substances are prescribed only when clinically appropriate and after a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Treatment decisions are individualized and based on medical judgment, patient safety, and evidence-based care.

Care is centered around a whole-person, evidence-based approach that recognizes the connection between mental health, sleep, stress, chronic illness, pain, addiction, work demands, family dynamics, and overall daily functioning. The goal is not only symptom improvement, but helping patients feel more stable, functional, and supported in everyday life.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee.
New patient appointment calls are typically returned on Thursdays.
